Canadian Tire Dealers' Association
Canadian Tire Dealers' Association (CTDA) is a non-profit organization comprised of
over 489 Associate Dealers who own and operate Canadian Tire stores across Canada. The
CTDA is governed by a Board of Directors of 17 Dealers elected by the membership, including
the Past-President for an interim period. The work of the Board is assisted by many Dealers
working on numerous strategic committees and by a multi-disciplinary Association staff. The
CTDA is dedicated to serving the needs of its membership by providing high quality strategic
programs and services in a cost-effective manner as recommended by CTDA committees and
endorsed by the CTDA Board of Directors.
History: Our Beginnings
In 1968, CTDA was incorporated in the province of Ontario as a private, non-profit business Association without
share capital under the Canada Corporations Act in the Province of Ontario.
